For the month of May, we are proud to feature Teh Wei Yuen on our CEFL e-calendar. He is a former student at CEFL Bandar Puchong Utama and CEFL Bandar Puteri Puchong who started off in Movers Level English and has taken the Cambridge Assessment English exams up to C2 Proficiency. He recently graduated from the University of Tennessee in the United States of America with a degree in Electrical Engineering and has just begun a PhD programme at Monash University Sunway.
Wei Yuen now realises the importance of having the Cambridge English Qualifications, especially for international universities where a globally recognised certification for English proficiency is needed upon entry. He was fortunate to have the Cambridge English Qualifications that landed him a spot at the University of Tennessee. During his higher education, he saw how the Cambridge English Qualifications equipped him with all the English language skills needed to excel not just academically, but socially. He was able to work well with his classmates in group assignments and projects and has no problem communicating with his American friends.

Wei Yuen will be the first to tell you that being able to speak English fluently is an important skill. His parents chose to send him to Cambridge English For Life because they knew he would someday be able to unleash the skills he learned and use them confidently in his daily life. With that, he has managed to achieve many great things beyond his imagination. We wish Wei Yuen the best in his bright career pursuits!
