April 2021 e-calendar featuring our student, Lam Wan Nee

For April, we are proud to feature Lam Wan Nee on our CEFL e-calendar. She is a former student at CEFL Kota Damansara and she took every level of the Cambridge Assessment English exams from A1 Movers to C2 Proficiency. She credits her mother for her insight that studying at CEFL and earning the Cambridge English Qualifications would solidify her foundation in English to avoid any limitations to her opportunities in the future such as going overseas to study and socialising with others. Wan Nee always her dreamed of studying medicine overseas and she has begun living out that dream, studying at Cardiff Sixth Form College in Wales, UK.

Wan Nee says the most obvious advantage to studying English and earning the Cambridge English Qualifications is that she gained the confidence to socialise with native speakers. Not only has she made good friends with native speakers in her studies overseas, she’s also a source of support to other international students who turn to her for help understanding their professors.
