JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • An independent user of English, supported by results from Cambridge English Qualifications,
  • SPM 1119, MUET, IELTS, TOEIC.
  • Possesses a basic degree or post-secondary qualification
  • Possesses (or willing to obtain) a teaching qualification such as CELTA, CertTESOL, TEFL degree,
  • CELT, CIDTL or equivalent
  • Enjoys working with children and school age learners
  • Prior experience in teaching or education preferred
  • Passionate fresh graduates are welcomed - training provided!

Academic Executive / Senior Executive

Job Requirements:

1. Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Education, TESL, English, Linguistics, or related; teaching certification preferred;

2. Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching English, fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply

3. Working knowledge of the Malaysian Education System;

4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers;

5. Must be willing to work overtime hours and weekends as needed

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop schemes of work, teachers’ guides, and training manuals.

2. Managing, developing, and maintaining all the CEFL curricula

3. Conducting teacher training for CEFL teachers

4. Development of new educational products as required

5. Assist in the development of online learning materials as required

6. Teaching CEFL programmes as required

7. Assisting with Cambridge English exams twice yearly

8. Assisting in the marketing and promotion of CEFL programmes and examinations as appropriate


Instructional Designer & Trainer

The requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Education, TESL/TESOL, English, linguistics, or related teaching certification with a Master's in Education

2. Minimum 3 years of experience in teaching English;

3. Sound knowledge of the Malaysian Education system;

4. Familiar with the CEFR framework

5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers; and

6. Must be willing to work overtime hours and weekends as needed, and willing to travel.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop schemes of work, teachers’ guides, and training manuals.

2. Managing, developing, and maintaining all the CEFL curricula

3. Develop courses and training programmes that are targeted for specific industry and departments to increase efficiency and effectiveness and generate increased revenues

4. Ensure that all training materials and programmes are compliant with laws and regulations governing the industry

5. Conduct teacher observations and teacher training sessions for CEFL teachers in accordance to CEFL policy

6. Provide online and/or conference-call training sessions for outstation/overseas employees/participants

7. Teach CEFL programmes as required

8. Work to keep training programmes vibrant and entertaining to engage employees and trainees

9. Liaise with Centre Directors, Centre Managers, Centre Assistants, Headmasters, Teachers, external parties etc. for school outreach programmes
