November 2021 e-calendar featuring our former student, Lee Kin Thong

For November, we are proud to feature Lee Kin Thong for our e-calendar. He is currently studying to earn his Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. He previously took the Cambridge Assessment English B1 Preliminary, B2 First and C1 Advanced level exams with CEFL.

Although having spent most of his schooling years in an environment where English is hardly used, Kin Thong still had the opportunity to master the language through taking classes at CEFL. He has a keen interest in engineering and mathematics. He was one of the nation’s top 10 high scorers in advanced mathematics in the Unified Examination Certificate (under the Malaysian Independent Chinese Secondary Schools system). He was crowned as the winner of multiple university-level engineering competitions in Malaysia. At Tsinghua University, Kin Thong is able to use the English language to communicate fluently with international students and understand the lessons in all his English-taught courses. Furthermore, his fluency in English will give him a great advantage in his career path.

Kin Thong is wise beyond his years. He knows in order to build his future, he must adapt to changes. He has demonstrated that successfully and we hope to see him shining on the global stage!
