June 2021 e-calendar featuring our student, Ashman Yusuf Bin Zainal Azman

For June’s e-calendar, we are proud to feature Ashman Yusuf Bin Zainal Azman, a former student at CEFL Damansara Jaya (previously located in TTDI). He is currently pursuing the Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) at the University of Melbourne in Australia. He has taken every level of the Cambridge Assessment English exams from A1 Starters up to C2 Proficiency.

Ashman describes his experience with English proficiency as one that has always been evolving, thanks to CEFL. He benefitted from the holistic coverage of all of language skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking). He had the opportunity to practise his writing, analyse chunks of information and even speak his mind, as his teachers encouraged him to participate. The fundamental skills and confidence he gained from the lessons became evident in his higher education abroad. He was able to smoothly transition from a non-English speaking background to assimilating into life in an English-speaking country.

Like gold, Ashman went through the process of moulding and refining to become better in English. Now, he is shining bright in his studies, and we hope he does the same in his future career. All the best to you, Ashman!
