These Terms and Conditions form part of the agreement between Cambridge English For Life centres (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Centre’ or ‘CEFL’) and the parent/guardian of the student or the student (hereinafter referred to as ‘you’) as named herein.
1. REGISTRATION & ENROLMENT
1.1 All registrations are subject to these Terms and Conditions, which become legally binding upon completion of registration.
1.2 The Centre reserves the right to withhold acceptance of an enrolment if such action is deemed in the best interests of the student or the Centre.
1.3 To register for a class, you must submit a completed registration form along with the required payment.
2. FEES & PAYMENT
2.1 Payment: Full payment of all due fees is required before the start of the first class of each term. Students will be denied entry into the class if payment is not made on time.
2.2 Payment Method: Accepted payment methods include online bank transfers, QR codes, credit cards and debit cards. Cash payments are not preferred.
2.3 Non-Refundable Fees: All course fees paid to CEFL are non-refundable and non-transferable, regardless of the reason for cancellation or non-attendance, including personal circumstances, scheduling conflicts, or changes in availability.
2.4 Fee Pro-Ration: CEFL reserves the right to calculate pro-rated fees upon registration of a new student or the start of a new level. All other terms need to be paid in full regardless of the number of classes the student is able to attend.
2.5 Fee Charges: All applicable fees shall be as stated in the corresponding factsheets. CEFL, as the parent company, reserves the absolute right to revise the fee structure at its sole discretion whenever deemed fit and necessary. Any such revision shall take effect immediately upon the issuance of an official publication by CEFL, and shall be binding on all parties, without the need for further consent.
2.6 Taxes: All applicable fees are subject to any taxes, levies, or charges imposed by the Government from time to time.
3. CLASS SCHEDULING
3.1 Class Schedule: The class schedule/calendar will be provided during registration. The Centre reserves the right to reschedule and/or postpone classes in the following circumstances, including but not limited to:
a) Teacher unavailability
b) Additional holiday gazetted by the Federal or State Government
c) Other emergencies OR unforeseen events
3.2 Class Rearrangement: The Centre reserves the right to close a class or adjust the class timetable if there is insufficient enrolment for that particular class.
3.3 Notification of Changes: Students and parents/guardians will be notified promptly of any changes to the schedule or class arrangement.
3.4 Class Replacement: Missed classes will not be replaced. However, if the Centre cancels or postpones a class (refer clause 3.1), replacement classes will be provided.
3.5 Teacher Replacement: The Centre reserves the right to replace the class teacher without prior notice.
4. TRANSFERS
4.1 Transfer Course: Should a student wishes to transfer or skip to another level, this must be agreed by the respective Centre Manager and Class Teacher. Any transfer is subject to the availability of seats in the intended class.
4.2 Fee Difference: In the event where a transfer involves a course with a different fee structure, the student shall be required to pay any applicable fee difference prior to the transfer taking effect.

Transfers to Other Centres: Request of transfer to other CEFL
centres shall be reviewed on a case-to-case basis.
5. STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES
5.1 Attendance: Students must attend all scheduled classes on time. Missed classes will not be refunded (refer to clause 2.3). Parents/guardians must inform the Centre of any anticipated or prolonged absence.
5.2 Course Materials and Intellectual Property: All course materials, including texts and additional resources, remain the intellectual property of CEFL. These materials must not be reproduced, resold or distributed to external/third parties for any purpose.
5.3 Conduct: Students must maintain respectful behaviour towards staff, teachers, and fellow students. Inappropriate behaviour, including bullying, theft, or other disciplinary issues, may result in immediate dismissal without refund. Students who signed up for CEFL classes are not to influence other students at the centre to register for classes not endorsed, offered or promoted by CEFL at all times.
6. CONSENT & PRIVACY
6.1 Consent to Use Personal Data: Upon registration and enrolment as a CEFL student, you are bound to participate in our marketing activities and contests. You hereby shall grant Cambridge English For Life (CEFL) permission to collect, store, and use your personal information, including your name, photo, and any other relevant details, for marketing purposes. This may include, but is not limited to, promotional materials, social media, website content, advertising campaigns, and your participation in all CEFL contests.
6.2 Right to Withdraw Consent: If you wish to withdraw your consent, you have the right to do so at any time. To withdraw your consent, please send an email to your respective enrolled centre’s email address with the subject line ‘Request to Withdraw Consent’. Upon receipt of your request, we will take reasonable steps to cease using your personal information for marketing purposes. However, please note that we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes. Additionally, once you have withdrawn your consent, you will no longer be eligible to participate in any future marketing-related campaigns, promotions, or contests. In the event, you wish for us to diminish and dispose all information relating to you kindly inform us expressly via the above email and CEFL shall within reasonable time take the necessary steps.
7. SAFETY
7.1 CEFL would take care and caution to ensure that the safety of all students at the centre are prioritised and safeguarded during classroom activities and at its premises. CEFL is exempted from all liabilities for any injuries to any student not caused by the actions of CEFL staff, agents and/or its representatives.
