CEFL Communique (January-March 2015)

Star Achiever. Aniish Chandran (CEFL SS19). Aniish has shown vast improvement in his English language skills since enrolling at CEFL two years ago. In 2013, he passed the Key English Test (KET) with merit and continues to show increased participation during classes. Tales With A Twist. It was a morning to remember at the finals of Stories For Life 2014.

Newsletter (October 2014)

Going for classes at CEFL has not only improved Qi Qian's English writing skills, but also her English speaking skills. She has since scored an impressive 100% mark on the Key English Test (KET) and earned a spot on her school's debate team. She is grate for her teacher, Ms Carmen, and her parents for providing her with unending support and guidance. She enjoys her lessons at CEFL as they are always fun and far from stressful and hopes to maintain her excellent results.

Newsletter (December 2008 – January 2009)

On 30 July, CEFL was represented at a great presentation given by Jeremy Harmer, the renowned writer of ELT books, which include "The Practice of English Language Teaching", now in its fourth edition, and "Hoe to teach English". Mr Harmer's presentation, entitled "Difference, Medals, Missions and Angels" was sponsored by Pearson Malaysia, addressed the question: "How can teachers deal with mixed intelligence, mixed ability classes?" by examining the relationship between motivation and individual differentiation.
